If hinge section is to be removed from door, mark position of hinge on the
panel.
Bushings can be replaced without removing hinge from door.
Remove circlip and washer from hinge pin and remove pin.
Knock out old bushing with a punch.
Insert new bushing in sleeve, ensure orientation is the same as the old
bushing.
BMW special tool 41 5 010 is used to crimp the new bushing in
place. This tool is no more than a nut and bolt that is inserted through the new
bushing and tightened to flare the end of the bushing down against the hinge.
