Seat belts, front, remove and install.

Latch:
Move seat fully rearward, remove caps from nuts and remove the 17mm nut from front of each rail. 520001.jpg (24105 bytes)
Move seat fully forward and remove the two 17mm bolts from rear rails. 520003.jpg (28644 bytes)
Drivers seat : If seat is to be removed, disconnect seatbelt switch connector below seat. 610006.jpg (27710 bytes)
Remove cap from seat belt latch on side of seat and remove 17mm bolt securing seat belt latch. 720017.jpg (51025 bytes)

Shoulder belt:
Remove rear seat bottom and side trim panel.
Gently pry lower edge of cap out and lift straight up off top pivot of sash belt

Remove 17mm bolt from pivot.

NOTE: There are two holes for mounting the top pivot of the sash belt.  The height of the pivot can be set according to the height of the driver. Use of the non standard hole requires cutting the B pillar trim and placing a plug in the original hole.
Push pin from guide in B pillar and remove guide. 720007.jpg (24896 bytes)
Remove the bolt securing the reel to the inside of the B pillar. 720008.jpg (26963 bytes)
Remove bolts securing guide rail and slide belt off forward end of rail.

Forward nut of rail has plastic cap that is removed by prying upwards.

Installation:
Assemble in following order:

Bolt, belt, two steel washers, one locking ring. Locking ring is not necessary, it is in place to hold bolt and washers to belt during production line assembly.

Ensure centering pin of inertia reel is located in bore. 720011.jpg (26707 bytes)

Torques:
Seatbelts to body or seat : 48 Nm (35 ft lbs.)
