| Drivers door: Gently pry out mirror switch and
disconnect. |

| Passenger door: Pry out plastic cover from armrest. |
 |
| Remove screw in opening. |
 |
| Remove 2 screws in bottom of armrest. |
 |
| Slide armrest forward to disengage clip from storage compartment, remove
armrest. Follow green arrows to remove and white arrows to install. |
 |
| Pry inner door handle surround towards rear of car, and lift off door
panel. |
 |
| If door lock button has a knob on top, unscrew it. |
 |
| Use a trim tool or gently use a flat screwdriver to pop door panel clips
from door, start at the lower front corner where damage will be less noticeable if you
make a mistake. |
 |
| Once clips are disengaged on bottom and sides of panel, lift
panel straight up. Window seal may come out with panel. |
| If seal did not come out with door panel, gently pry upwards on last two
clips, grab seal and pull out of remaining clips. |
 |
| Remove plastic splash sheet. |
 |
Early style regulator, prior to 3/88:

| Raise window until bolts in regulator are accessible through
the opening in the lower rear of the door. Remove the two bolts. |
| Swing window up at the rear, disengaging roller from front
section of regulator. |
| Lift glass out of door by raising rear of window until glass
is vertical, then lift straight up and out of door. |
Late style regulator, from 3/88:

| Position window as high in door as possible while retaining visual access
to slides. |
 |
| Tape window over door frame to secure. |
 |
| Cut cable tie securing wiring to door near window motor. |
 |
| Unplug window motor by squeezing connector while pulling. |
 |
| Remove the three 10mm bolts (green arrows) and two 10 mm nuts (blue
arrows) securing window motor and regulator to door. |
 |
| Push regulator towards rear of door to remove rollers from slides. |
 |
| Fold up regulator and remove from door by pulling lower edge out first. |
 |
| Tilt front of glass downwards, into door, to remove from guides. |
|
| Lift glass out top of door. |
|
Installation:
|
|
| Adjust window. |
|
| Align door lock rod with hole in door panel. |
 |
| Position window seal on door, not panel, replace any damaged clips. Clips
mount over dimples in sheet metal. |
 |
| Replace any damaged door panel clips. |
