| Remove door panel. |

| Remove plastic splash sheet. |
|
| Position window so that regulator bolts are accessible through cutout in
door. |
|
| Hold window and remove the two bolts securing it to the regulator at the
rear of the door. |
|
| Swing window up and back so that the forward roller comes out of the
regulator, lower glass into the door. |
|
| Remove bolts securing window motor, or manual crank mechanism , and
regulator to door. |
|
| Cut cable tie securing regulator to lower section of door. Disconnect
wiring for power window motor. |
|
| Regulator is an S shaped metal tube, lift one end out of the door, then
thread the rest out behind it. |
|
| If motor is making grinding noise, replace motor and regulator as a pair.
Only replace the motor by itself if it has failed electrically. |
