Trim for rain gutter, remove and install

Remove joiner by lifting bottom edge out and up.
Starting at front , by windshield, rotate trim out at top, until it comes free.
Pull C pillar trim straight out away from car

Work along the trim until the roof line.

From the roof line back, rotate the trim out at the bottom.

Take care not to bend trim if it is to be re-used.

Installation

Replace grommets on windshield pillar and rear pillar

Use BMW special tool 51 1 060 to install new trim. If this tool is unavailable, seat the top edge of the trim along the roof line and gently tap bottom edge into place with the palm of your hand. Reverse rotation of assembly when you get to the windshield pillar.
