Adjusting accelerator cable
- Pedal fully relaxed, throttle body fully relaxed, engine off.
- Adjust cable to remove slack without putting tension. Slight sideways movement of cable
should be possible.
- Check cable , with accelerator pedal in full throttle position, there should be 0.5mm of
further movement available in the throttle plate.
- After checking this , loosen adjusting screw 1.5 turns, giving an extra 0.5mm of play.
