Remove and install brake pedal.

Remove lower left dash panel

Remove return spring from brake pedal and clutch pedal.

Caution : Do not mix up pedal return springs, they are of different rates.

Remove clip from actuating rod pivot at brake pedal and slide out pivot pin.

Remove nut from right side of pedal pivot shaft at top of pedal box, slide shaft to left and remove pedal.

Installation

Lubricate pivot points with grease before installing.

If shaft is not slid out more than required to remove brake pedal, clutch pedal over center spring should still be correctly positioned (if fitted).
If not, position spring correctly.

Torques

Nut for pivot shaft : 27 Nm (20 ft lbs.)
