Slave cylinder, remove and install

Drain brake fluid from reservoir to a point below the intake for the clutch master cylinder. The reservoir can be pulled out of the brake master cylinder to achieve this.
Crack loose the metal pressure pipe from the slave cylinder 210004.jpg (12739 bytes)
Remove the two 13mm nuts securing the slave cylinder to the transmission. Slide the cylinder off the studs. A flexible 13mm socket and long extension are required to remove the top nut.  Bend the pressure pipe slightly if it is causing an obstruction. 210003.jpg (14258 bytes)
Disconnect the pressure pipe.

Installation

Thread in pressure pipe fitting finger tight before installing slave cylinder.
Lubricate end of actuating rod with molybdenum grease.
Install slave so that bleed screw faces down.
Note that dual mass flywheels require a thicker diameter slave cylinder, 22.2mm as opposed to 20.64mm for standard units.
