Fuel pressure regulator, replace.
| Pressure regulator is located at forward end of fuel rail, near
alternator. |

| Remove hose clamp (green arrow), hose may need to be cut off as they often
stick to the fitting on the regulator. Remove two 10mm bolts (blue arrows) and vacuum
line (red arrow). Twist and pull regulator to dismount. |

Installation

| Replace seal (new BMW fuel pressure regulators come with the
seal already installed. |
| Lubricate seal with engine oil and twist regulator while
pushing into rail. |
| Check fuel pressure |
