Lower speakers:

Left Side, Non air bag equipped:
|

| Remove three 1/4 turn screws along top edge of panel and one below the
steering column |
 |
| Pull panel forward and out. Remove chime module from bracket in panel by
pulling back tabs. |
 |
Left Side, Air bag equipped:
|
|
| Remove the four 7 mm hex head screws from bottom edge of trim panel. |
 |
Remove the three Phillips screws securing trim panel to dash.
Remove trim panel. |
 |
| Pull horizontal panel down and forward. Remove chime module wiring
connectors or entire module by spreading the plastic clips securing it to the panel. |
 |
| If necessary, remove the knee bolster by removing two 10mm bolts on left
and three 10mm bolts on right side of bolster. |
 |
Left side all:

| Remove two 8mm screws from release handle. |
 |
| Remove screw from lower forward corner of speaker grille. (arrow) |
 |
Right Side:
|
|
| Remove screws from speaker grille. |
|
Both Sides:
|
|
| Pull edge protector trim away from lower kick panel |
|
| Remove 3 remaining screws from speaker |
 |
| Remove speaker and disconnect wiring. 2 wires for standard system, 3 wires
for Hi-Fi system |

Door mounted tweeters:
|
| Hi-Fi equipped cars have tweeters mounted in the forward
corner of the front door window openings. |
| Pry door mounted tweeter off door by placing a screw driver approximately
3cm above the tweeter. |
 |
| Disconnect wiring and place aside. |
 |
