Note: This procedure requires recovery of the
air conditioning refrigerant. See an appropriately certified air conditioning
technician to have this recovery performed before commencing any air conditioning system
repair.

| Remove washer bottle. |
|
| Remove AC belt from compressor. |
|
| Unplug connector for compressor clutch |
|
| Disconnect forward refrigerant line |
|
| Remove nut from upper mounting bolt. |
|
| Disconnect rear refrigerant line at coupling below compressor,
leaving stabilizing canister (if fitted) attached to the compressor. |
| Remove bolts from bracket on lower mount, remove bracket and lower bolt
from compressor. |
 |
| Slide out upper mounting bolt and remove compressor. |
|
| Remove stabilizing canister, check and replace rubber mounts
if necessary. |
Installation:

|
| Ensure correct volume and grade of oil in compressor. |
|
| Replace all O rings and seals. |
|
